about Albert Einstein
Albert Einstein was born in Ulm, German yon March 14, 1879. His father was a businessman and the family
business was the manufacturing of electronic parts. this scientist very exceptional scientist the business failed, in 1894, the family
moved to Milan, Italy. Within a year, still without having completed secondary school,
Einstein failed an examination that would have allowed him to pursue a course of study leading to a diploma as an electrical engineer at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology. He spent 1895 in a nearby high school in Aura, a small town at the border of Germany and Switzerland. There among pleasant friends, students and excellent teachers, Einstein finished his studies. He returned to the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in 1996, from where he graduated in 1900. For the next couple of years, he taught mathematics and physics in a secondary school. In 1902 he obtained a post at the Swiss patent office in Bern. Einstein submitted one of his scientific papers to the University of Zurich to obtain a PhD. degree in1905. In 1908 he sent asecond paper to the University of Bern and became a lecture there. He received a regular appointment as associate professor of physics at the University of Zurich in 1909. In 1922, Einstein receive Nobel Prize in Physics. Einstein was not only a very gifted scientist who brought us much greater understanding of how the universe operates,
he was also one of this century's greatest philosophers and thinkers on humanity,
politics and peace. From 1919 Einstein was-and remains today-the world's most famous scientist.
